2.6 did improve the ability to use these within user actors (as noted earlier), and there is currently no option for user built input lists like this.
My work around is to use an int input and associate an output to display the name of the selected item. You can limit the rang e of the Int to match the number of options and corresponding names/labels.
I'm a bit astonished that you somehow got your hands on it
@mark, Thank you for your advice about the 3D Quark actor. I am not sure now and a bit confused why I ever would have had access to it if it was not part of a general release. I can tell you that I have not used the actor publicly and I no longer have access to it. It appears to me now only as a carcass in a test patch. It must have slipped through at some point - some time ago (maybe 2-3 years ago??) - in a public beta perhaps? I do recall its effects, with the curves and spirals, I thought it was very interesting and successful. I didn't realise that it was really a hidden/forbidden gem!
It would be cool to disjoint the fonction grouped inside Projector, as separate actors: level (intensity) ---> mapping (position, dizzy-map) ---> output (layer, stage), allowing to fade between mapping or other routing.
I've had huge success sending MIDI Show Control (MSC) from QLab and ETC Ion/Nomad lighting consoles to trigger Isadora (via MIDI Show Control Watcher actors paired with comparators), in conjunction with using @dbengali (Mac) and @djinoui 's (Windows) JumpByName custom Isadora plugins and then prefacing Scene names with MSC cue #'s.
I think these are very similar to what Isadora already uses, just the parameters are wrapped in JSON... where Isadora is using a comment structure. Perhaps I will spend sometime converting a couple, and if successful right up a how to.
