It's not just for longer form media though. If I had your six-frame video and I wanted to loop it for 5 minutes, I'd make a 10-minute long movie file in editing software that's just those six frames over and over. If you never get to the end of the file because you make the file longer than the duration for which you need it to loop, you don't need to worry about anything to do with seamless looping nor what happens at the very end of the video file.

One of the things you really need to consider is minimizing the difference in physical location between of the camera lens and the projector lens to minimize the amount you’ll need to tweak the mask you'll get from the IR camera. For this, I’ve had the best results slapping a Kinect right on top of a projector, but for that to work, the Kinect and the projector need to both be within a few meters of the performer(s), so the equipment basically needs to sit onstage. 

The Kinect makes a great mask for this purpose when you use the openni plugin and set it to not show skeleton, hide background, and be in “ghost” mode. (The relevant inputs are called “colorize bodies” and “show skeleton”. You can also turn the “skeleton tracking” input

 Here you are telling this side of the system to expect values from 0 thru 1.0, it can't scale anything because it has no reference point. 

These min and max settings require that they exist on both sides of a link between actors. If on the first side you set min= 0 and max = 1, Isadora will expect values between 0and1 to be output, then on the other end of the link if min is set to = 10 and max = 30, the values from 0 to 1 will be scaled to 10-30.

This works in the same way as the Limit Value Scale actor.

I don't know what you full range of incoming values are, but if you use a Limit Value Scale actor, you should be able to scale to 0-1 or 0-127 depending on where you want to send that data.

Currently, this feature has not been added to the Text Draw actor. To achieve this it might be necessary to have an external application rendering the text (Processing perhaps) and share the image back to Isadora.

As show above,you should be able to target a gpu in Windows Graphics Settings.

Additionally, once you have multiple cards installed from nVidia, there should be additional options in the nVidia control panel. Unfortunately, I have dismantled my multi-card machine.. so I can't point you any more specifically.

 This is not currently possible but I already put in a feature request for this when I was looking at your original post. As far as Isadora being able to "group" red and green pictures for you, I was able to make an example for you. It involves:

Naming the pictures as you take them with the Capture Stage to Picture actorParsing the name of every new picture file to determine if it's 'red' or 'green'Saving the name and media index of the new picture file into one of two Data Array actors (one for red and one for green)Using a Counter actor to recall the entries in the Data Array actor (so you can sequentially recall the pictures that are part of each group and their media index numbers.)

The third Scene ("Sorting Red/Green Pictures") in this updated example file has the programming for this.

I just had a similar problem last week while trying to send NDI and OSC to and from a powerful Windows show computer that belongs to a university that has very strict network and computer security protocols. I never did figure out what setting on their computer was preventing it, but when I hooked up two non-university computers to a network switch I was able to send NDI and OSC back and forth without issue. I suspect it was a firewall problem, but nobody around had sufficient security credentials to do anything to the firewall's policies regarding Isadora on the university computer. So maybe check your firewall settings on both computers? Also, as a test, I'd hook up a third computer to your network switch and see if it can send and receive NDI to and from your original two computers. This test might help you identify which one of them is the problem.

Unless I'm misremembering (I don't use my Blackmagic device very often), that's not what the iPad is outputting, it's what the Blackmagic device is currently set to in Blackmagic's hardware configuration software, Desktop Video Setup. Isadora has no control over what the Blackmagic hardware is configured to do, you have to check Blackmagic's Desktop Video Setup software to see how you've configured your device, then make the Input Format in Isadora's Live Capture Settings match that.

 MP4 files are designed for forward playback. The way the compression works requires the loading of sequential frames. If you will be playing a video in reverse or scrubbing its playback (moving the position input) you want to use HAP. Hap is by far the best format for interactive playback. It is much larger however, so long files will be large. So Mp4 is useful for standard/forward playback of long movies etc.

You should be able to just move the movie files, then reopen the Isadora file (skip relinking the missing media) then see if your files behave as expected.

@dillthekraut We have used the Black Magic Designs capture/playback SDk to integrate directly with their hardware. My understanding is that it is meant to both simplify the process of working with BMD devices and offer some speed advantages. https://www.blackmagicdesign.c... 
I don't have any specific speed tests that I can reference. BlackMagicDesign is the only vendor-specific hardware driver currently supported in Isadora, so it is "special' ;) all others are supported via the OS media interfaces.

NDI is inherently CPU-hungry. If you can get the video feeds in via an HDMI or SDI capture device you probably won't see such a high load.
