I slapped together an example file and a User Actor that should (in essence) let you turn OSC input/output on/off.
Gif of it in action: https://recordit.co/5ZydVd0xUY
Explanation

Control Panel

Setup for OSC Listener actors (OSC Input)

Setup for OSC Transmit actors (OSC Output)
I think a possible workaround is to put the OSC actors in a User actor with the User Actor on/off.
Or I am missing something?
Best regards,
Jean-François
Hi!
Sadly we don't offer this option at the moment, to change the FPS you will need to go thru your Preference menu.
Could you let us know your use case so we can log this in our feature request database?
Thanks!
@all
So my colleague and friend Benjamin Kreig tells me that the only way he ever got one of the Blackmagic converters to work with the TripleHead2Go DP edition, was to output 3 x 1280x720 at 50Hz. It did not work at 60 apparently. (Of course, maybe this is because Benjamin is based in Germany and the displays were 50Hz?) Anyway, it seems that there is little to no chance of getting the TH2Go to work with the BM Converter devices.
Thanks for all the help.
Sincerely,
Mark
Hi! Is there a way to manipulate the fps of a movie player/projector directly from the control interface, without having to go to preferences>target framerate? Thanks
There is no built-in actor for this at the moment but we've already got this logged as a feature request. (I myself would like this too!)
Dear community,
I am using the "Midi enable" actor in my patch and I am trying to do the same thing for OSC, but I couldn´t find such actor. Could someone please point me in a direction how to enable/disable incomming OSC, based on a certain status? Thank you very much helping a fresher!
Best wishes,
Hendrik
Very understandable and true! Thank you for the hints about how to work around!
Best wishes
Hendrik
It is not currently possible. We consider it to always be more important to see the other actors and links (which actually affect how a file operates) than to be able to see Comment actors (which are just notes). You can, however, use Broadcaster and Listener actors to avoid having links cross over your Comment actors, or left-click in blank space while making a link in order to add corners to the link so you can avoid passing over a Comment actor.
Best wishes,
Woland
