Dear community,
I am looking for a way to move a comment actor describtion to the front but can´t find the common "move to the front" option like in a drawing software. So I was wondering if it is not possible at all or if I am just not clever enought?
Thank you for your support!
Is there a reason that you don't want to install Rosetta? As you said, you don't need to run Isadora in Rosetta, but if you can't install without it and there's no downside to having it on the computer, why not install Rosetta?

You might check the cue sheet system (Manual Page 163 following).
We also put out a YouTube video covering the basics of using the Cue Sheet system recently:

If you click on the actor you can use force the actor to use Timecode by clicking 'Use Timecode" or you can select the actor and then go to the top menu > Actors > Set Time Options > Use Timecode
Yes do this, then:
- Connect the 'position' output of the Movie Player actor to one of the time inputs on a Timecode Comparator actor
- Set the same input on the Timecode Comparator actor to initialize at 00:00:00:00
- Set the second input on the Timecode Comparator actor to the time you'd like to trigger at
- Set the compare mode on the Timecode Comparator actor to 'ge' (greater than or equal to)
You might find this thread useful reading for what you're trying to do.

@woland Thanks so much! Yes this all makes total sense. I may look into these solutions or just put up with it as you say. As my PhD is around temporality it may even be good that there is a kind of delay or gap between the hand and the onset of the line

This is a Gig-e vision camera

As yet Isadora does not support this. Gigevision cameras are great, but they are not widely supported by systems like Isadora. Supposedly TD has support for this, I didnt check though.
@mark Dumb sugggestion, but the mini convertors have a firmware you can upgrade, I have had issues with various versions - current seems to be good for most use cases. In general though blackmagic gear is always SMPTE only. You may have some luck with switch res X to adjust the exact timings and blanking for the outputs, otherwise a non SMPTE extension system is the go. I have used Aten VE-801 extenders with no bad results (I actually got them because they also worked to extend my htc vive), they do 4k 60 (colour space limitations below)
4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz (4:2:0);
4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz (4:4:4)
I like them because I dont need to drag around cables, for HD pretty much anything will take you 30m, but there are also some cheap HDMI to fiber convertors.
Hi, I've just tried installing isadoramac-326f00-std.dmg on a MacBook Pro 16-inch 2023 M2 Max running Venterua 13.0 and get the prompt...
To install "Isadora 3 - Standard Version (Intel/ARM)" you need to install Rosetta
i was expecting Isadora to run natively without requiring Rosetta (since i'm not using OpenNi Tracker or any other specific add-ons), so how should i best proceed?
Have also just upgraded from Ventura 13.0 to 13.2.1, with the same prompt. And have logged a technical support ticket
