    D [LOGGED] More Cue Based Options?

    @cambrucedavis

    You might check the cue sheet system (Manual Page 163 following).

    I for a long time underestimated it and it might be a bit confusing at first, but in the end it is a powerfull tool.

    For a first intro: Every scene will contain it's own cue sheet with as many cues you like to have.
    For every cue, one trigger by the default trigger key (e.g space), Isadora simulates a custom button press, which is defined for every single cue in the sheet separatly and might trigger an action inside the scene patch (eg. by key watch actor).

    Beside that, it always is worth a forum search, for what others came up with impressive solutions.

    cheers
    Dill

    Armando [ANSWERED] Using BM HDMI/SDI Converters with TH2Go DP Edition

    Hello @mark

    no need to have microconverters if you buy fiberoptic HDMI cables you can have 8ft up to 320 feet. I tested the 200 ft model in every condition for a year and a helf. It works, guaranteed. These cables are also Consumer Electronics compatible, so you can control blackmagic cameras from an ATEM. Beware 1 : it is fiberoptics, better not to walk on them. Beware 2 there is a source plug and a display plug. It,s not possible to invert.

    This is the brand : iBirdie Active Cable HDMI 4k, HDCP2.2 #D BLue Ray HDR Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision, 18Gbps, 24k gold plated

    Hope it helps !

    bonemap [ANSWERED] Using BM HDMI/SDI Converters with TH2Go DP Edition

    @mark

    I used a setup that included these devices a few years ago. It was a pc laptop >TH2Go > 3 x hdmi to sdi converters > 3 x sdi to hdmi converters> 3 x Epson projectors. Essentially the TH2Go remained close to the PC laptop and the sdi cable lengths were multiplied per projector.

    I recently received a couple of Epson projectors with sdi inputs but have not tested them with such a setup.

    Best wishes

    Juriaan [ANSWERED] Creating Triggers from Movie Player Position for Dummies

    @yoshi
    Hi there Yoshi!

    If you click on the actor you can use force the actor to use Timecode by clicking 'Use Timecode" or you can select the actor and then go to the top menu > Actors > Set Time Options > Use Timecode

    cambrucedavis [LOGGED] More Cue Based Options?

    Hi all,

    I would love a little more sophistication of how to deal with internal cues. Right now, there are times that I need to build multiple cues within a single scene. I will use a sequential trigger to sequentially fire the internal cues and then a jump when ready to go onto the next cue. I've nothing against this, it works well, but I would love it if there was a way to incorporate that into the Isadora Cue Numbering system.

    Perhaps a Cue Actor (or Trigger Cue Actor) of some sort (perhaps something that uses the new address method that is similar to the OSC address?) If there was a Cue Actor that could go into a scene and then maybe add multiple cue numbers to the scene / and the scene select in the control panel (maybe they live tabbed in under the scene they live in) then you could better identify internal cues.

    This could be useful also when using Midi Show Control or the Jump to Cue actor as you could trigger a cue that may be part of a sequence of cues that lives inside a scene.

    Also, I'd love an Activate Cue Actor. Working like the Activate scene, but with the Cue Number function of the Jump to Cue Actor. Would be a useful way to activate background scenes without having to know where exactly they live in your cue stack.

    Thanks so much,

    Cheers,

    Cam.

    Y [ANSWERED] Creating Triggers from Movie Player Position for Dummies

    Hi, smart people.

    I wanted to create triggers from multiple movie positions in Movie Player, and created this patch (see the screenshot below). I couldn't figure out which actor I could use to take the value of a precise movie position to trigger envelop generators. The only way I could think of was to convert movie positions into actual time using TimeCode View actor and did mental calculations to input numbers in Timed Trigger actors. Can someone tell me the more efficient and precise way of doing this...?

    Thank you!!

    J [ANSWERED] Using BM HDMI/SDI Converters with TH2Go DP Edition

    Hi,
    I have the TH2Go DP edition and I checked with a blacmagic microconverter and it doesn't work either. I think it has to do with what @cambrucedavis says, and also that the microcoverters support 1080p max and the EDID of the Matrox is passing information from the entire display. I have checked with a HDBaseT extender connected directly to the HDBaseT port on my Epson projector and it works correctly.
    I hope that helps.

    jfg izzy control interface with video on iPhone

    @mr_j

    after a while I think the easiest way is to use a VNC Remote software like Teamviewer  or  https://apps.apple.com/de/app/vnc-viewer-remote-desktop/id352019548 in the iPhone. It is not so responsive but you see  the whole control panel.

    EDIT: for me the best one (easiest to use) is: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/remoter-remote-desktop-vnc/id369626098

    Best regards,

    Jean-François

    cambrucedavis [ANSWERED] Using BM HDMI/SDI Converters with TH2Go DP Edition

    @mark

    Unfortunately, it is is mismatch of the 'type' of signal, I believe. The Triple Head uses VESA governed signal types and SDI is a SMPTE governed signal type. So, while they share many of the same properties at 1920x1080 they are different enough to be incompatible.

    Some Active Optical HDMI should work, as may an HDBaseT solution (although, I've had issues with HDBaseT in general).

    Hope that helps?

    Cheers,

    Cam.

    Woland GigE poE camera support in Catalina ?

    @emtv

    It's not going to show up in live capture because it's not a camera that's connected to the camera via USB (via capture card or directly like webcams) nor is it an integrated camera (like the camera on a laptop).

    Maybe set it up on a Windows NUC to send the video stream to the network over NDI, then pick up the NDI video with an NDI Watcher on your Mac?

    Best wishes,

    Woland
