    Woland [ANSWERED] OSC Auto-Detect Input Tangent Ripple

    @thomas-parb

    To send OSC to Isadora you need to send it to port 1234

    Woland [ANSWERED] Matrox TH2G and Mac M1 - does it work?

    @panicoescenico

    I know that @mark recently was successful using one TripleHead2Go DP Edition with an M1 Mac laptop. I know this because I lent him the TripleHead and then worked on the project doing the lighting. You may run into issues if you try to use more than one TH2G at the same time.

    jhoepffner Move Dynamixel motor with OSC

    @jhoepffner

    Just a precision, I tried with Isadora on MacOs, it works but the serial port name is (on my machine):

    "/dev/cu.usbserial-FT4TIETZ"

    And you need also to use Python 3 (not the MacOs installed one) for library name reason.

    I am trying now to use it on Raspberry, I will give you news.

    jhoepffner Move Dynamixel motor with OSC

    Perhaps interesting for those owning Dynamixel motor.

    I wrote a script Python running from command line and allowing to move the motor with simple OSC.

    DusX [ANSWERED] Stage setup V2- V3 need some help

    @tr742

    Yes, if I remember correctly the decision was made to save the Stage Setup with the Isadora file. If you have a setup you need to use in many files, you may want to create a 'Template' file with your stage setup, and then cut and paste you v2 scenes into these new v3 files. Allowing the Stage Setup to be saved as external config files and loaded into files is something we hope to implement moving forward.

    T [ANSWERED] Stage setup V2- V3 need some help

    Hi

    Need some help. In version 2 software you can set up stage contours, then change to a different project and the contours you have adjusted in stage set up  will still be there.
    In version 3 it does not remember stage set up  ?

    Regard

    DusX Ableton/Isadora delay

    @gpeddino

    I don't really know what delay you are seeing, but it sounds like it's probably due to the Film being preloaded for playback. This time will vary due to system resource changes.

    You could trigger Isadora to Start the scene and pause Ableton (if possible), and then again trigger Ableton to continue from Isadora (once playback has begun). That might eliminate the delay, as Ableton shouldn't require any additional load time.

    G Ableton/Isadora delay

    My project uses Ableton for audio and Isadora for video/lighting. I've set up everything to have Ableton start the show and send a MIDI signal which prompts Isadora to move to the next scene which has the full show. It's a film projection so everything must be in sync. Everything is working fine.

    However, I've noticed that the internal delay is not quite reliable. There's always a bit of delay and it seems that the delay is not always the same, which makes it hard to just compensate by having Ableton trigger Isadora earlier. Is there a way to ensure everything will stay in sync? I tried exploring the Movie Locker actor but the movie looked choppy (I don't think I really understood how to use it). Any ideas or tutorial for that? Thanks in advance.

    craigw [ANSWERED] StreamDeck Control (Video Select and Turn On Projector)

    Hi, I use a streamdeck every day with midi. I think this is what you mean by show up as a midi devise.
