Thanks for your reply. I'm well aware of the workarounds, but I would love to have an actor that accepts NDI inputs / outputs without using a bridge ;) 

+1 for getting access to an input list similar to the Screen Capture actor. sometimes the NDI source has a pretty complicated name and having to type it all in accurately has more potential for error.

I would try in stalling Isadora on the AE machine, and sending a test NDI feed from Isadora to Isadora on the second computer. That will help to eliminate some possibilities.

NDI is inherently CPU-hungry. If you can get the video feeds in via an HDMI or SDI capture device you probably won't see such a high load.
