hello. skype also allows replace your webcam with a dedicated ndi stream. so we allways send the program out of our atem switcher to skype, to show our interviewpartners the program out.
r.h.
@laurentr I mean to start with, just using Newtek software to identify your problem. If you get connection between the phone and a newtek receiver you know your network settings are good. From there you can see if you get it into NDI to Syphon.
Thanks @DusX I can confirm that ! Incredible skype is NDI
@alex2p I would take the NDI route over the methods in the Isadora tutorial. For more robust solutions I have also used a dedicated Apple TV per device and then capture the signal from the HDMI output of the apple TV.
@mark Thanks! That's really great to hear, I didn't realize NDI was compressing, that explains a lot. This is a huge help, thank you both so much for the thorough explanations. Just got my new video computer and I'm going to jump in. @Juriaan
a camera I have wanted to try that might suite is the mevo. It supports NDI which is ideal.
Yes, I saw that, and I'm looking into it, but I wish Zoom wasn't being an ass about NDI because ZoomOSC is a great tool.
Edit: I've actually been aware of OBSninja for a number of months. I flagged it a while ago as a software of interest.
Nothing Mac based that I am aware of (Isadora 3 aside). The app I posted can spout/NDI out a number of the available video feeds.
So, 1 PC and 1 Mac is a possibility.
@dusx thanks , i will have a look to spout / syphon , I work with ndi , because if I ll add a pc for isadora later 😉
You are true for the black area, I'll change my setup with stages
Thanks!
