OSC (numbers / text)You can send the skeleton tracking data via a number of OSC channels, or you can group the values into JSON (using either the JSON Bundler add-on or the Javascript actor) and send each skeleton as a single JSON string. You will then need to use either the JSON Parser add-on or the Javascript actor on the receiving system to unpack the skeleton data values.NDI (video)Sending the video via NDI can be achieved by creating a Virtual Stage in Stage Setup for each video stream you want to send and checking the NDI output option on the Virtual Stage settings pane. Then send the video from the OpenNI Tracker actor to one or more Projectors with the virtual stage/s set for the stage input. You will need the NDI watcher actor from the Add-ons page to bring the NDI video stream into your other computer.
I already built this setup for @Vidasonik , the only thing left is getting equipment and settings down for a solid network connection.
Here is an post from @Mark about how NDI is working: https://community.troikatronix...
A HDBaseT extender set costs around $500.-: https://www.purelink.de/en/sig...
Birddog planned to ship a NDI to HDMI converter in September for $400.-, but it seems it did not ship yet: https://bird-dog.tv/flex-overv...
As @Mark has written NDI has the downside of pulling from the GPU to the CPU and 1 signal may work fine but if you sending to 3 different projectors or more this can be unusable depending on your computer specs. I don't have a tried any NDI to HDMI converter yet and can not say how workable it is.
Best Michel
Oooh and signal conversion per channel!

Additionally, Isadora's new NDI Out and NDI Watcher Plugins means you could conceivably use this + NDI to send the feed to other computers using Isadora (or another software that can receive NDI) too.

The tests I sent were without NPI out
Really, the next step to take (if you haven't already) is to open a ticket and let one of my team work with you. To figure out what's going on we really need precise details and this thread is getting a bit confusing with various user suggestions based on incomplete information from you. Please open a ticket today so we can help you more effectively.
That said, in your comment above I assume you mean NDI not NPI. Your initial post is a little unclear about NDI, because you mention it but we do not understand where NDI is being used. If you had the NDI output feature turned off, then please leave it off. But why were you talking about NDI in the first place? Furthermore, if you're not using NDI, how are you getting the image from Isadora to Mad Mapper?
Also a bit confusing in your original post: you say you have "1 live camera on 3000x1080" but 3000 x 1080 is not a valid resolution for the Blackmagic device as far as I know. How are you getting a 3000 x 1080 pixel image from Blackmagic?
Have you modified the Stage Setup to a resolution other than 1920 x 1080?
I have tried to duplicate your setup here on my 2016 Mac Book Pro which is slightly less powerful than the laptop you mention. I created three Apple Pro Res 422 test movies: 2 x 3000 x 1080 pixels, and 1 x 5000 x 1080 pixels. I do not have a Blackmagic device with me, so I cannot test that part of the setup. But I did enable the built-in web cam of my laptop at its native resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. I am outputting to a separate 1920 x 1080 display.
I can see in Apple's Activity Monitor app that the VTDecoderXPCService (Apple's service for decoding frames) is using around 400% CPU, which is to be expected given the resolution of these movies. So while my fans are definitely on (indicating a high amount of CPU usage), I see no particular problems with playback in Isadora 3.0.6. I am also able to transition to a matching scene, which is playing all three movies and accepting live video with the LOAD indicator at about 20% and the frame rate is just slightly less than 30fps.
That's the most I can do to replicate your setup at the moment. As I said, if you want to solve this problem in the most efficient manner, please open a ticket and consult with our tech support team.
Best Wishes,
Mark
Sorry for delay -- back now. Recreated the problem in a simpler patch...

That sounds unusual. And as if there is some kind of blend mode causing the issue. I did have a black video through NDI yesterday when streaming to Blackboard, but after resetting and restarting Isadora the video stream resolved. Perhaps post a screen capture of the patch so we can see the settings.
Have reset preferences and restarted Izzy and still found the bug. Have fiddled around a little with blend modes -- although anything non-black should be visible in any mode surely?

This sounds like an Alpha channel read/write issue. I would like to know the Isadora version being used.. and what software was picking up the NDI feed? Perhaps I can track down the cause.
Isadora 3.0.7 -- and NDI Studio Monitor / NDI Virtual Input. Just tested with NDI Studio Monitor on the same computer and the problem persisted.

Does this mixer allow you to get video into the Live Capture Settings using the Blackmagic driver? Or????
Probably? I've been using it with the Windows driver so far though, since the switcher can do the webcam-style input you described. Maybe thats my problem.
Screenshots of tests -- in the first one everything is working under native resolution. Then I knock the res down to half-size, and it will only appear over something else. Notably, what appears in Izzy is different to what is outputted over NDI.

And then ran a test with the contrast adjust actor -- just realised I have each stream on a different blend mode, but all the same... This time, even in Izzy we can't see a thing.

(Contrast adjust has its default values, so should be outputting the exact same image)
Am yet to download and try the Blackmagic driver option -- though from my end I'm probably happier just putting black boxes in the background for now.

Django
Hi, probably the best advice I can give is to purchase the NDIHX Camera app for your iPhone https://www.ndi.tv/products/ndi-hx-camera-app/ and use Isadora's own NDI 5 Watcher actor which you can download from the Add-Ons page of the TroikaTronix website: https://troikatronix.com/add-ons/ See screenshot below.
Alternatively you could use the EpocCam app or Continuity Camera built into recent macOS and your iPhone OS. In either case you can use the Video In Watcher actor and choose your iPhone from the Video In section of the Live Capture Settings (Input tab in Izzy's menu bar). If you can't locate your phone initially, try making the connection from your phone to computer with lighting / USB C cable - once the connection is made you can remove cable and go wireless!
Hope this helps.
Hello. Which Player software is able to receive triggers(OSC?,Midi?,???) from izzy on ios or android?
and we test ndi monitor from sienna excessive but they say in there "smal printed" that ndi monitor for ios shows no routed ndi signal. so the only things we see in, is the output from all original newtek ndi software(scanconverter, ndicam for android and ios, etc.) .
thx, ro.
Please go and download the NDI Watcher from the add-ons page: https://troikatronix.com/add-o...

This add-on will allow you to connect to multiple NDI sources.
This is the preferred method in Isadora, I would not recommend the NDI virtual input, unless you need to use it for specific reasons.
Hi there,
@troikadawn
Sorry about the long wait if this was an urgent request.
- Get the latest NDI Plugins from https://troikatronix.com/plugi...
- Unzip the folder and put it somewhere like in your documents
- Open up Isadora 3.x
- Go to Help > Open Plugins Folders > TroikaTronix Actor Plugins
- Paste the correct .izzyplug inside the opened folder. For example if you need the version for Isadora 3.0.7, Windows you navigate to NDI Watcher - Isadora 3.0.7 or after > Windows, put the folder with the extension .izzyplug inside the Plugin folder that we opened in Step 4.
- Restart Isadora (!) Changes to plugins wont take effect until you restart Isadora
Important:
- Isadora 3.0.6 < and Isadora 3.0.7 > have different versions inside the Plugins Folder.
- Isadora 2.x is not supported by the above plugins.
- Isadora 3.0.6 and before only support NDI SDK 3, not 4 !
- Isadora 3.0.7 and after only support NDI SDK 4.
Just to add to the conversation, I wondered if anyone had any experience with the Kiloview N1/N2 Wireless NDI Encoder (N1=SDI, N2=HDMI) for when the NDI-HX app isn't necessarily suitable?
We've had good success with full NDI wired encoders (Bird Dog Flex) for when wired signals can be sent (although, latency is comparable, even if a little higher than with the HX app).
