Testing Live Drawing actor

Together with the visual artists Marcela Rapallo and Rafael Arévalo Peñuela we were testing the possibilities of staging with Isadora software and the new configuration effects on the stroke: sustein and evanescences -fade outs- in real time, using a MIDI controller as an interface physics between the graphics tablet and Isadora.
The new plug in "Live Drawing" created by @mark provides a thorough control over the most important parameters in relation to live interactive digital drawing, opening a new field in visual experimentation.

La Red Isadora Latina convoca a todos los usuarios hispano parlantes del software Isadora.

Recientemente nuestra Red fué avalada por Mark Coniglio –creador del software Isadora- como la única organización de arte de latinoamérica con el respaldo official de Trokatronix. Ver aquí.

Esto es muy importante y abre una nueva etapa de posibilidades para todos los artistas visuales y de las artes escénicas.Queremos saber dónde están, cuáles son sus proyectos de Arte+Tecnología Multimedia, sus experiencias con el software, cuáles son sus intereses, qué aspectos destacan, cuáles se podrían mejorar, etc.

Con mucha alegría queremos contarles que la Red Isadora Latina fué elegida como la única organización de arte en latinoamérica avalada oficialmente por Troikatronix Isadora, y a Maximiliano Wille como su fundador y coordinador. Gracias a Mark Coniglio @mark Xenia Leyden @xenia Lucas W. Wilson-Spiro @Woland por todo su apoyo.

Esta es una noticia muy importante para toda la comunidad hispano parlante. Es el comienzo de una nueva etapa de oportunidades y crecimiento para la comunidad de usuarios de Isadora.

International Workshop in Uruguay

The Isadora Latin Network + InTAD announces its first international workshop who took place in Montevideo, Uruguay last week: "Visual programming environments for the scene". This workshop focuses on the use of isadora software as a reference for visual programming environments; Interactive multimedia technology in dialogue with the performing arts.

We thank Mark Coniglio @mark and his entire team for the support received.

About the Workshop:

The languages of visual programming open a new field in the realization of interactive digital devices for the scene, in which they can program the devices and applications that fit their artistic purposes without resorting to programming specialists.

This worshop aims to investigate the ways in which stage art incorporates interactive digital devices developed in visual programming languages and uses them as a starting point for artistic creation.

The aim is to bring professionals from the scene to the new accessible technological tools so that the art director can count on artists trained in this discipline to include in their work the resources that it offers.

@crystalhorizon I take this opportunity to tell you that here in Buenos Aires we have been making meetings every fifteen days, throughout 2017, as a production technology laboratory for the scene. Something similar to your meeting in Vienna but with greater continuity. The participants are all the students of the workshops of Isadora that we made during this year and want to continue developing artistic projects under our guide. On December 2, the works will be shown as a closing of the Laboratory.

Desde la Red Isadora Latina queremos contarles que están disponibles los tres primeros videos tutoriales sobre el software Isadora en español. http://www.redisadoralatina.co...

Esta serie de videos tutoriales pretenden acercarlos al mundo del software Isadora. Para el primer tutorial nos pareció mejor comenzar por mostrarles algunas de las muchas posibilidades que nos brinda este programa respecto de la creación de visuales en tiempo real. Este video fue hecho íntegramente con Isadora, sin cortes ni proceso de edición.

Los tutoriales 2 y 3 abordan las configuraciones básicas, la interfaz gráfica y los actores
