this thread is somewhat older, but i have a question about connecting audio actors.

AU and audio core actors need an audio in connection. But the movie and sound player doesn't provide an audio out.

Only the sound input actor does have one.

Isn't it possible to send sound from the movieplayer through any effects directly?

DillTheKraut

Reply to Core audio spectrum analyser on Sat, 17 Jan 1970 14:49:18 GMT

I also read that they have "AudioUnit" for mac, and I have been reading in different posts mentions to AU in mac version of isadora.
I am looking on a spectrum analizer myself for isadora (Win)

I suppose that this is not for me if I am working on windows since I only see vst / vst3 availability for windows.

I also read that they have "AudioUnit" for mac, and I have been reading in different posts mentions to AU in mac version of isadora. What is this Au thing about?

Going back to the spectrum analizer, I am thinking that I could also build a very rudimentary one with "Sound Frequency Watcher".
