I wanted to use Movie Player Direct Core in a patch in 2.0.5 but the video that is sent to the stage is almost solarized. (Pro Res 422 720p files).

I took a picture with a comparison of the Movie Player Direct video vs. Movie Player Direct Core. I would use movie player direct but i get a black frame when I change my movie from one to the next.

I am working in 10.6.8 so I don't believe I can use the new gpu player (AVFoundation isn't available on 10.6.8 is it?) and anyways I thought it would be fastest to use the Movie Player Direct Core.

I don't need to manipulate (fx) the video.

Thanks for any ideas.
