<div>(You probably already know this) The audio analysis tools in VDMX are excellent for visually selecting frequency bands of interest and firing off effect or sending out OSC, the bands can be rapidly adjusted during a performance so you're always triggering off the parts of the song you want to.</div>

<p dir="auto">@<span class="Author"><a href="http://troikatronix.com/troikatronixforum/profile/149/DusX" rel="nofollow ugc">DusX</a></span> the problem (for me) with the tap method (which is what we currently do)  is when mixing live and the DJ suddenly chops about what they are doing its very distracting and consumes a lot of effort if you have to manually update BPD or beatmatch in you mix - so if I have something taking care of the basic tempo I (we) are free to focus on other design elements.</p>
