I’m working on Isadora v2 and first of all congratulations for this new version, really nice!

I’m playing HD video on Isadora 2, simply using the new movie player and projector actors. My problem is that I couldn’t find the right way to get a fluid video stream. As well on my display (beamer panasonic pt-dz 870 HD) or on the preview window… When I open the file on Quick Time player it’s perfect.
First I think Isadora 1 was the problem, so I upgade to V2…
The image is lagging just a little bit, not so much, but not fluid.

My video files have a resolution of 1920x1080, 25fps, with codecs: Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), Linear PCM.
I set the same resolution and fps on Isadora preferences.

I try to export a file changing codec to H.264 but the problem is still there.

I’m working on OS X 10.10 on a MBP retina 13-inch, 2,6 GHz i5, SSD, RAM 8Go

If anyone have an idea what am I doing wrong?
Of course I read « optimizing for speed» but didn’t find the solution…
Maybe it’s something so evident…

Thank you so much

LG

So there may be something else interfering here. Please submit a bug report/ support request at http://troikatronix.com/support/isadora/ One of us will be able to help you there.
