We're going to be visiting a few smaller venues which will come with some on the fly improvisation to get the show to work, so I'm a little bit worried about using isadora as a solution. As far as i can tell I will need to re-map the projectors in each scene individually if we needed to alter our setup. Is there any way to globally alter projection surfaces in isadora so that 1 change can effect all instances of the same projection screen within the show? thanks.

Reply to is it possible to apply mappings to the whole project? on Mon, 06 Nov 2017 09:07:29 GMT

I have used a routing option for this.

You can see my sollution in this post.

https://community.troikatronix...

GertjanB

Reply to is it possible to apply mappings to the whole project? on Mon, 06 Nov 2017 04:34:08 GMT

@thatmattrogers said:

Here is a quote by @mark from a related post: Izzy Map Globally Over Many Scenes

"I am quite sure this procedure works:

Put Projector inside a User Actor

Edit Izzy Map (do not "publish" any of the inputs.)

Close User Actor

Use User Actor throughout your show

Later, if you edit the Izzy Map and choose "Save and Update All" when closing the User Actor, all the other actors will update."

The original forum post includes links to User Actors prepared by @jhoepffner and @Woland, definitely worth a look.

best wishes
