I am on mac osx mountain lion with a mac pro, 6 core intel xeon with 32 gigs of ram, video cards installed 5770 and 5870, and the lfg4 capture card, SSD drives.

Problem consistent on my lion laptop, 13" 2010, 8 gigs of ram, SSD drive. This license is my own, Wladimiro A. Woyno R.

I am having one hell of a time with this one. I need 4 picture players to load on a preview screen the current subtitle image, the previous and the two ahead for the operator. I have them as 246 images and a few different ranges it needs to jump to. I am having images not load or half display when getting the multiple picture players to advance simultaneously to different images. The work around I found was to add a delays between advancing each picture player with the keyboard watcher... still a problem if operator needs to move quickly through lines when actors skip around. I did file a bug report as well.

Attached is the guts of the user actor and the library of text pictures i am using. you might have to load the pictures into the library. It works ok with the delays in place... if you zero those out or try to advance too quickly you will see it go out of wack.
I really like using mapio. If you look in my other post about 3D quad distort/edge blending I give an outline guide about how to get it to work. It might be overkill and limit you a bit since you have to use a syphon patch always active send scene. I'll pm you my phone and don't hesitate to call! I'd like to talk to you about trying to get mapio just working as a QC actor in izzy.

Paco/Wlad.. any tips on Quartz into Mapio? Is it working well for you? I am doing my first edge blend in Ottawa this week and testing different options. Its pretty simple for here.. just two projectors, needing edge blend. Recommendations?

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to examine your patch yet. I've got it on my desktop and will get to it in the next couple of days. I'm stuck on a serious Windows bug that I must address first I'm afraid. Hopefully, as you said, this issue with the pictures isn't huge in the "grand scheme of things."

I have not tried to reinstall isadora, a bit too tightly in show mode now. everything else is working alright from syphon into quartz to mapio 3d warping/edge blend to running 1920x531 videos smoothly... This is but a minor thing in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe copy and paste into a new isadora session. Save it. Close everything and see what happens?
