In timecode mode it is nearly impossible to move the slider to an accurate position because the scale maximum is set to 23:59:59:23. It would be nice if the maximum is set automatically to the end of the movie.

We have this as a feature request already and will be working on it for the next point release.

The reason we didn't implement this previously is because the movie number can be changed interactively; thus the ending time value is variable depending on the movie. My assumption (as the coder in chief) was that people wouldn't want to use a slider to change timecode because they would want to specify an exact frame number by typing it in. My bad it seems.

Best Wishes,
Mark

mark

Reply to [LOGGED/WORKAROUND] Setting Movie Player Play End with Slider in Timecode Mode on Thu, 07 Nov 2019 14:35:57 GMT

Yes, this would be nice.
