Well if the Player is working for you, that's great.
However, it is deprecated moving forward, so that's really the biggest down side to it.
It relies of Quicktime for playback and has therefore been removed for Isadora 3 (Quicktime doesn't offer a 64bit option).
I don't know why the regular movie player would be causing you any problems. Do the files have video as well as sound?
My suggestion would be to use what works best with your media. Keep in mind that if moving to Isadora 3 in the future, you will have to change the Sound Movie Player for a Movie Player.
This upgrade may be well worth it if you are going to be using this project for an extended period of time, since Isadora is gaining some powerful new audio routing features in the Very near future.

DusX

Reply to Help again on Fri, 24 Jan 2020 21:35:29 GMT

@juriaan I was replying to a request from dusx dont know why it went to you !!

Tr742

Reply to Help again on Fri, 24 Jan 2020 19:41:10 GMT

@Tr742

Just a heads-up, but please dont @ the administrators role.
