<![CDATA[[ANSWERED] Isadora freeze while playing video or switching scenes (macOS Catalina / Isadora 3.0.7)]]>Hi community,

i have a problem with my isadora. It crashed at random actions like playing a video (no effects on it / .mp4 and .mov format) or just using the jump++ actor to go to the next scene.

I'm not using any third-party plugins, just the actors from isadora (noteOn watcher/Enter scene trigger/Keyboard watcher etc.)

Can anybody help?

I have run a test patch on MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 for three hours using exclusively MP4 movies as you have in your patch. It ran without indcident. No crashes of Isadora, no crashes of the Background Movie Player. I am awaiting your answers to my questions in the ticket system and will proceed once I hear back from you.

 I have responded to your ticket and asked you to try a couple more things. I am about to go test MP4 playback on Catalina right now to see if I can duplicate any of your problems.

i don't know if it was the preference file or me changing the framerate of the project, but it somehow worked.

often it is that your preference file got damaged somehow. To delete the preference files follow these steps:
