The "Guru Sessions": Accumulated Links and Resources

As I continue with our "guru" sessions today, I thought it would be important to have a "one-stop shop" where you can find all the links and resources you need for the guru sessions. I will add a new reply for each session that links to the video, important starting points in for the archived video streams, downloads, etc.
Guru Session #1: Intro to Stage Setup Editor / Intro to 3D Particles
PART 1 : INTRO TO THE STAGE SETUP EDITOR
In the first part of this stream, we start by covering the basics of the Stage Setup editor, which is a new feature as of Isadora 3. This important addition allows for greater flexibility and control of how images are routed to video projectors and/or displays. In this segment of the session, you'll learn how to:
-- Add stages and link them to external displays
-- Control the size and visibility of the preview windows
-- Use virtual stages and additional output features that allow you so you can route video to external applications or devices.
PART 2: INTRO TO 3D PARTICLE SYSTEMS
In the second part we cover the steps required to create a basic particle system using the 3D Particles actor. You'll learn:
-- To add 3D Particles actor, to move the Isadora's 3D "camera" to make them visible, and to start generating particles.
-- How to change the position of the particle using the Mouse Watcher or one of Isadora's generator actors
-- The importance of using interesting textures to bring the particle system to life
Guru Session #2: The Self Generating Patch
In this session, designed for more novice users of Isadora, we get learn the basics of creating a "generative system" -- where you use Isadora's Shapes actor in combination with the Wave Generator and the Envelope Generator to create self-generating imagery. As part of this, you will be introduced to Isadora's built-in value scaling features, which are an essential technique that allow you move from creating something basic to a finely tuned system. (Value scaling is also critical to working with real-time input from sensors, a topic we'll cover in a later session.)

Guru Session #3: The Data Array Actor
In this session, targeted towards intermediate to advanced users of Isadora, you'll learn about Isadora's Data Array actor, a powerful tool for storing, accumulating and managing data. You'll learn how its core functionality, how to use it import text files full of data, and finally how to use it as a real-time data recording tool.
Guru Session #4: The Control panel
This session digs into an often overlooked feature of Isadora: the Control Panel. You'll learn how to create a user interface for your Isadora patch. It starts with basic controls like buttons, sliders, and knobs, and moves into more advanced options that give you feedback about what's on the stage and where you are in the show. This session is targeted for users new to Isadora, but all levels will benefit from the material we'll cover.
Guru Session #5: Using 3D In Isadora
In today's session, targeted at intermediate to advanced users, we'll dig deep into the 3D capabilities of Isadora. From the 3D Projector actor to using the 3D Player and 3D models to build up complex scenes where individual objects respond to sensory input, you'll see new opportunities for creating imagery that lives and breathes along with performers or the public.
Pro Tip: Isadora only supports the 3DS file format. We'll have a file with example models to play with, but if you'd like to acquire some models that are of particular interest to you, try a visiting a site like TurboSquid or CGTrader, setting the filters to 3DS and free to locate free 3DS models.
