do you know if we can open the matrix value receive 's edit channel map, with a trigger or something that could be sent directly from the control panel, 

the operator can be afraid of diving inside the patch when he arrives in a theater and need to map the dmx...

I logged this feature request and also added on that any actor that can open a dialog might benefit from the addition of a trigger input so that the dialog can be opened using the Control Panel (like you can with the 'izzymap' input on a mapped Projector actor).

Indeed when the operator needs to change dmx patch, which is like « normal life thing »

It would be really nice to have a trig input to show it ...

This is not possible but it would be handy to be able to as you can trigger the IzzyMap. I moved this post to the feature request category.
