I want to use the USB key because I do some installations and there is no internet connection in most cases. I want to set up the project with my usb key and then leave in in demo version. Is this possible?

Yes! You only need your License dongle for editing / saving your project. You do not need a license to let the project run at a location. You do not need Internet access to register a USB key, you only need the activation code that is in the e-mail that you receive shortly after purchase.

Another question is that in a year or two the installations are going to change venues so I would need to remap. If by then I have purchased an upgrade to a new version in my USB is it possible to not change the existing version of the old projects? I am afraid that things could have changed and the project would be different if some actors don't exist anymore for example. I mean if I have created a project in isadora3 and in two years I purchase isadora4 upgrade, when I go back with my usb key is the project going to open in isadora4? or can i keep it in isadora3? Also do I need internet connection to reactivate?

Regarding your concerns with the license upgrade. Please open a support ticket at https://support.troikatronix.c... to verify this with our license team. But what I know regarding USB licenses is that only one license can be active at the time at a USB key. And Izzy 4 licenses might not work with Isadora 3. But like I stated before, please check with our License team!

Basically, if you open an Isadora project in a major version upgrade you won't be able to open it any longer in a prev version of Isadora. So for example, if you open your Izzy 3 project in Izzy 4 (whenever it comes out), make some changes and then wish to open it Izzy 3 again it won't work.
