The videos have been rendered as hap .avi. Whenever I have looping videos, they appear to loop a few frames too early. I've noticed that the counter reaches 99.444 and loops instead of 100. Optimize is set to performance and pb engine is WM.

We are working hard on a custom playback engine which is proving to work well, especially with Hap video.
Currently there is no perfect workaround to this issue. If you need seamless loops you may need to create a long video which contains multiple loops within the video itself. Still the end loop will not be seem-less. You may consider a very simple crossfade to smooth out the transition.

DusX

Reply to [ANSWERED] Hap loop playback not seem-less on Wed, 29 Sep 2021 21:16:30 GMT

@benglover

Hi there Ben,

It seems that no one knew the answer to this question. I'm going to tag our Technical team here, they might have a clue / can give you a hand with this issue.

@DusX @Woland ?

If you didn't do this already, feel free to make a Technical support inquiry by filling out our Support form.
