I am teaching Isadora for live performance to a handful of music and theater students in NYC. They are first time technology users and they LOVE LOVE LOVE learning izzy.

Musicians want to know, as do I, if the Capture Stage to Movie actor can capture audio as well. I vary rarely work with exporting audio and I am looking to find a way for my students to self record with married video and audio.

Thank you

Isadora is an awesome interactive real-time performance tool, but enabling an easier media output workflow would bring it into the world of content creation without losing any of its distinctive heritage from the worlds of dance and theatre.

Notdoc

Reply to [ANSWERED] Capture Stage to Movie Audio Options? on Wed, 03 Nov 2021 07:38:19 GMT

Thanks .... would be great to have ...

sommerdi

Reply to [ANSWERED] Capture Stage to Movie Audio Options? on Tue, 02 Nov 2021 19:19:49 GMT

@sommerdi said:

Do we have with 3.11 the option to capture video and sound?

No, 3.1 does not address this usage yet. You can send Audio and Video via RTMP but audio must be routed through the OS (selected in the RTMP actor). Solutions to audio routing/capture are high priorities as we move forward.

DusX

Reply to [ANSWERED] Capture Stage to Movie Audio Options? on Tue, 02 Nov 2021 17:45:42 GMT

Do we have with 3.11 the option to capture video and sound?

sommerdi

Reply to [ANSWERED] Capture Stage to Movie Audio Options? on Thu, 30 Sep 2021 13:00:52 GMT

@juriaanThank you.

JohnnyMoreno

Reply to [ANSWERED] Capture Stage to Movie Audio Options? on Thu, 30 Sep 2021 12:58:57 GMT

@dusxThank you for your reply.
We are focused on adding new audio features like the new multi-channel audio routing available in the Sound Player as we move forward (available in Isadora 3.0.8), however; at this time stage recording does not include audio recording. My current setup for stage recording with audio (generally for tutorials) uses OBS for real-time capture.

DusX
