<![CDATA[[ANSWERED] Capture Stage with Audio]]>Hi


I need to record the stage (live camera input with effects) and the audio into the same file. It appears that the Capture Stage to Movie actor will only record the visuals not the audio? My work-around is to simultaneously trigger Capture Stage to Movie and Capture Camera to Movie which then need to be edited together. Is there another way of getting the stage and audio recorded in the same file? Recording start/stop needs to be triggered by Isadora.

In this situation I have output the stage and the computer audio to an external recorder (in my case an Atomos Shogun, but other recorders are available).
Of course then you have to bring the external recording onto the computer and in to Isadora.
And you can't automatically trigger the recording.
So lots of disadvantages.
But it works.

Capture Stage to Movie with Audio is probably a good feature request to make...

Another way would be using Syphon Recorder and MidiStroke to control Start/Stop in Syphon Recorder via shortcut.
