The z is -1 so that should not be the problem. Is there a bug? or am I doing something wrong? It has worked before for me, but not now...
All the best Eva

Reply to 3D Pariticles actor troubles on Fri, 29 Sep 2023 09:11:09 GMT

@dbini

Yup, thanks!

Eva

Reply to 3D Pariticles actor troubles on Tue, 26 Sep 2023 16:52:30 GMT

@eva

having the z at -1 doesn't give you much space to move your particles around. i usually start with z at -100.

dbini

Reply to 3D Pariticles actor troubles on Tue, 26 Sep 2023 11:49:40 GMT

@bonemapAh, I see, also there is something about the z actor.
Hi,

I have looked over your patch and have replicated your data input. You will need to reduce your 'limit scale value' outputs to a smaller range i.e. try '-5, 5'

godsbanen-residency2_bonemap.izz

@jfg 'limit scale Actor' suggestion is good, and I also recommend using a '3D Stage Orientation' to manipulate the global 3D scene values.
