<![CDATA[[ANSWERED] Where to find AU... Actors?]]>Hi,

I'm probably missing the obvious, but I cannot seem to find a way to output live captured audio (I have to send sound from a room in another room depending on other conditions that I can synchronize in Isadora). I found several mentions of an AUSoundInputActor that should do the trick (in a forum post https://community.troikatronix..., in the release notes https://support.troikatronix.c...) but it does not appear in Isadora on my computer...

So my two questions are :

  1. Is this AUSoundInputActor the right tool for my problem or is there a better solution?
  2. Where can I find this actor (and the other AU... actors that seem to exist but do not show either in my instance of Isadora)?

@mark_m is correct, AU actors are using techniques that are only available on macOS.

if you are on Windows you won’t find the AU actors. I do believe they are Mac only.
