In Isadora WDM is only available unter Driver Windows legacy and Modern, but both give an error message.

That's expected, since Blackmagic should interface via the Blackmagic driver.
I have look over this, and the only thing I can see is that the device supplies 12bit video, while Isadora uses 8bit internally. I don't know how conversion is handled in this case. I will need to check into that. Is there any way of configuring the device to use 8bit?

Unfortunately I don't have a pc tower, or decklink, so I can't dig in to testing this.

DusX

Reply to Blackmagic Video Input no image on Wed, 26 Mar 2025 16:24:08 GMT

@mark_m

I made a few more tests.
Thanks for posting the pictures.

All your settings look right.

I just compared them with mine. I only have an UltraStudio Recorder 3G so can only test in HD 1080 but the settings look the same in the Isadora Live Capture Settings, so I'm afraid I don't have any good ideas.

I notice that someone else posted problems with their Decklink on Windows. @callie did you ever get this working?

https://community.troikatronix...
