<![CDATA[People Tracking with yolo in Isadora]]>I’d like to use Ultralytics’ people tracking in Isadora (https://docs.ultralytics.com/modes/track#tracktrack). However, I’m quickly reaching my limits, as I have absolutely no idea what the Python code should look like or what if I need to install more than "yolo26n.pt". Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to understand the video ‘Getting started with Python". I’ve managed to create a Python actor with YOLO, thanks to Mark’s explanations in the *4.5 vst demo" patch, but what do I do next?

Can anyone help me or tell me where I can find help without having to spend months becoming fully proficient in Python?

I have two small suggestions for you.

First is @DusX updated  python tools, in the add-ons here. Like you I couldn't understand the first video, but this did help me get started.

And the other thing which has really helped me with Python is using AI. Specifically Claude Sonnet. I like that model particularly because it is good at explaining, which helps me to learn the process. 

When I'm starting a chat I:

  1. ask it to add detailed comments to every line of code explaining what it does in plain English (am sure it's equally capable in other languages!).
  2. ask it for a "Step-by-step environment setup guide," including how to install the necessary libraries for my OS.

I just did this for Windows, and Claude Sonnet gave me verbose instructions. Including how and where to install all the necessary libraries, etc. I don't have time to try that all out right now, but will certainly give it a go later.

Meanwhile maybe this is useful...
