@justhere
Hi, I tried to change my mac output settings, but I just can do it for the mac own screen. I don´t find a way to change the projector resolution.
I think @Juriann is right, and there is not way around.
Is good to keep in mind this, because I never realize that I can not use a 4k projector !!!
Fortunatly I had a B plan (my own projector) :)
Regards!
I feel like Columbo here... just one more thing...
I love the zoom and rotation factors in Izzy map, but if it would also be possible to have number control of the position... if that makes sense.
Cheers,
Cam.
While I'm making feature requests, I would also love to be able to publish the blend mode in Izzy Map. Like how you can publish intensity and other values, to be able to publish the blend mode would be great. In a current project I am making a lot of user actors to do custom mapping and currently need to make two versions - one additive and another transparent. If I could publish the blend mode I could have an user input to change between blend modes.
Cheers,
Cam
@danielpineiro you can use a 4K projector at 1920x1080 output in your system settings. It will not utilize the full brightness but hv fit setting on the projector should fill the frame.
Assuming your content is HD as well. That way you keep content and output consistent, no upscaling involved, which your integrated graphics isnt really up to.
also pay attention to refresh rate: if your content is 25fps use 50hZ, ntsc or 30 fps at 60hZ.
hope this gets you started.
@juriaan Hi! A tech guy from the venue said that maybe with an one direction HDMI cable, but we do not have one for test. What do yo think?
Hey there Daniel,
A Macbook from 2013 is going to have issues with outputting a 4k stream.. I don't believe there is a way around that.
Hi!
This morning I had in a venue a Panasonic PT-REC10, wich have a 4K resolution. My old mac (2013) see spects in my signature, was not able to play my videos at nornal speed (i had glintches, and droped frames). Finally I had to use another projector.
I guess it is cause for the 4K resolution, but I wonder if it is a esy to resolve this
Thanks for your help
Best regards
I have to deliver the project by the end of June. Running Beta is one thing, have it running on a standard (latest) version is another.
that's what i meant by included.
Hi,
To experiment with data and movement I mostly use smartphones, there are a lot of sensors in them and if you use an app like zigsim you can send all the data to the computer using OSC data.
For example I connected my smartphone to one arm and the smartphone of the performer to the other arm and than used the data in isadora.
Then after experimenting, you know what kind of data you would need and than you can look for that specific sensor.
For example if you find out acceleration is the most interesting one. you can use an acceleration sensor, connect it to an arduino and send that data to isadora. I'm currently using ESP32 boards and send OSC data over the network. Its not a lot of programming you just read the data from the sensor and send it over the network using OSC.
dear all,
for a live indoor performance on stage i am looking for a small, lightweight (+- 100 gram) FPV drone with guarded or even caged propellers, of which the live image can be seen by the pilot (on stage) in goggles as well as received in a way that it can be fed into isadora - at best as a clean feed without the control overlays and with as little latency as possible - and processed and projected live on stage.
i've already done a bit of research on this and it looks like it might be possible. but before i dive deeper, i want to ask the amazing swarm intelligence of the isadora community if they have any concrete experience with this. i'm grateful for any advice or hint!
best
