I'd be interested to look into this. Glad you have a work around but Syphon stuff is normally really stable.

as it happens, sometimes the crash occurs when selecting the Delicode Server channel within the Syphon to Video actor. possibly the same thing as when the kinect is unplugged, so it could be something to do with the communication between NIMate and the Syphon to Video actor. the show went smoothly this morning, so i'll continue with my planB and update next week with more details...

What is the exact name that is showing up in the Syphon to Video actor from Delicode?
There was an issue with incompatible letters in a custom Syphon stream once before. Just wondering if Delicode changed the name of the stream recently?

if i keep switching between server 1 and server 2, after about 3 changes, izzy crashes with the details:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000074634192

and a bunch more stuff i can send through next week. in the meantime, i hope this is useful.

today's show went without a hitch.

Syphon actors list bug in 2.0…2b. same same,

not with 1.3 1f06, am I missing some?

Will wait until this is fixed before I UPDATE to 2.0

Just out of curiosity I copy paste the Syphon.framework from 1.5 into 2.0…2b and tested the result is no list bug!!!

Mark and the team - is there any chance of publishing a patch for 1.5.3f27 that fixes this? i'm halfway through a project and don't really want to upgrade to 2, but i'm having a lot of trouble with syphon to video. this time from a CEF client.

There was a bug with Syphon streams that used " : " in the name. I believe this has been fixed.

G - i'm a bit confused about upgrading to 2 vs early adopter. can i install 2 to get the above bug fix, and use it as a normal licensed version without having access to any of the new features?

@rainbow - you can get v2 from here and run it on your standard license - just not with the fancy new features that Mark and the gang have developed.
