Forum update

Like the new look - but doesn't change the previous problem I have with my iPad air and safari browser. Most of the time, when I start to read a thread, the text gets progressively smaller and smaller. Not readable. The actual list of messages has always been fine, just when I open a message. Anyone else having this problem? Works fine on my desktop.
And I wanted to make sure my signature was up to date, and now the settings say I don't have permission to have a signature?!?Thanks, John -
yep, the signature problem is known. We still have to look into this.
If I open the forum on my iPad 2, I don't have the problem with the text that gets progressively smaller.
If you open it on the iPad Air, does it open in the mobile theme or in full site mode? Maybe the iPad Air with the smaller screen, opens in mobile theme mode. If so, you can scroll down to the bottom and click on full site. In full site mode you can pinch zoom.Best

Yes, I still have the same problem on my iPad retina. It's kind of amusing, but quickly becomes frustrating.
I can't pinch or do anything to intervene with the incredible shrinking forum. No scrolling, no resizing, just shrinking. -
I'm so glad this has fixed my inability to post using IE!
Cheers,
Hugh

Thanks for this update. Are comments now getting into rss?
--8 -
Dear @eight,
Were comments _not_ getting into RSS before? This was a major update because we moved to the very latest version of vanilla forums so it may have fixed it. But really only Michel can answer this, and he is on holiday for the next week or two (have to check.)I will try to check RSS if I can fit it into my other many tasks. -
The iPad Air actually has the full size screen, largest offered. I don't see the mobile vs full site button. The actual message (only) has the right margin expanding endlessly.

I have also problems on my IPad retina
-
Same with iPad. Been like that for a while. It's like it is trying to re-size to fit full screen but can't find the boundaires.
-
Dear all As Mark mentioned I am on holidays for the next 2 weeks. I will look into these things as soon as I am back. Thank you for your patience. Best Michel

@JJHP3 @Ipearse In case you did not try yet please call the forum directly, not embeded as iframe in the main homepage http://www.troikatronix.com/troikatronixforum/. Does this change anything? Best Michel

The updated Forum will not allow me to change my signature.
-
The updated Forum says I do not have permission to use a signature
-
@vanderzee
Thank you. Yes we know that, I have to look into that when I am back from the holidays.
-
@mark I never saw the comments in my rss, and I don't think I am seeing them after this change.
Thanks for looking into this.--8 -
New look for me is confusing. What the highlihting means?
-
Agree with vanakaru.
The new look is not user friendly -
The higlighting means its a new thread. When a thread gets a new comments there is this small badge with a number and saying new. Best Michel

I like the interface. Way better then the old one, (but that was 2 years ago for me)
-
The user preferences will not permit me to modify my signature.
