      Thanks Skulpture,

I should have done that initially.
Here is a small patch that shows the issues.  Just for context...basically, I'm projecting on a house-like shape for a screen that's broken up into 8 distinct areas (at strange angles, hence the jaggedness of the projectors). Each area has a corresponding color with movies fading in and out of them.
So, it starts with just color, that fades into a 1-minute scene where the colors and movies fade in one by one, and then it's meant to fade back into a third scene with all the color blocks and then text also fades in and out of each area one at a time.
I just tried it again on this small patch and I'm still experience the issue that the text scene won't fire, but when I switch between Preview and Show Stages it all works.  (I hope I'm being clear and that you experience the same issue and that you can help...)
      Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
      J

Hmm well it opened and ran all the way through for me. No issues. Need to have a think and look at the patch a bit more.

It also is working fine for me. I know you are saying you are still using Izzy 1.0 but what version exactly did you download?

So you say that when you are in the Overture scene and the trigger delay of 56 seconds is over the Text 1 scene does not get triggered, or does it get triggered but the text is not showing?

Hm.  Yeah.  I was afraid of that.

            I'm running 2.0.0b28
I just haven't paid for the upgrade, mostly because I didn't want to do it right before working on a show in case there was some new functions that might throw me off.  I'm on a rMBP i5, 8gig OSX 10.9.5.
The Overture scene triggers Text 1 but then it's just a black screen until the very last title is supposed to appear and that works for some reason.  But if, while that scene is running, I switch from Show Scenes to Preview it will show me that the scene is running as expected...which leads me to believe it's not a bad patch.
But I'm at a loss.  I'm not super panicked because I'm tricking it by running a black scene in between the two scenes.  It's a little less elegant, but this isn't that elegant of a show.
More to the point -- I would love to know what's going on.  It's baffling me.
            Thanks for your help.

I installed version 2.0.0b28 and tested it again and I have the same problem, so please download the newest version 2.0.5 and the problem schould be gone.
