Yes, you are missing one step. You need to right-click your Movie Player actor and select 'Use Timecode'

edit: I think you may also need to move your SRT file to the same folder as your Mov file (your SRT Player is currently showing an error: file not found), and, of course, send your subtitles to a Text Draw actor to render them to your Projector

@bonemap , Thanks for this. I was excited about the chance.js library because it offered random outputs to so many data types which would make things quite efficient here. I will try your method and am sure i could use it to work with other data types.

Next up, I want to try papaparser.js for csv files. It looks promising.

One option to achieve the effect of particles that outline the person, is to start by creating a video effect of the outline. Once you have the outline as a high contrast image then look at the 3D Particles module. It has the option to emit particles based on a video input - called 'video gen':

It is a legacy 'vid-cpu' input and will likely require conversion.

There are some options to achieve what you have described in Isadora. You might find a part solution with the 3D Particles and 3D Model Particles modules.

You can setup a 'Previous Scene' Go Trigger in the Edit Go Triggers dialog (found under the scenes menu).

Select the direction as 'Previous Scene' and then setup your Keyboard/MIDI or HID control.

@renegadeboy You have a few choices, but starting with LTC as an audio track on your video files is a great begining. 

From there you can use hardware or software to convert LTC to MTC. IF you use software you need to route the audio output to an audio input with a cable or virtual soudn card.

For OSX you can use loopback to route the audio and lockstep to do the conversion https://figure53.github.io/stu...

There are a variety of virtual audio cards for windows, I am not a fan of them but they do work - there are a bunhc of forum posts about them.

There is a midi/OSC app that supports png image files:

OSC/Pilot

Then use ‘Guided Access’ on your ipad to create kiosk mode. 

Another option is hosting the controller in a browser that supports kiosk mode. Node.js can be configured with a browser interface that sends OSC commands to Isadora. Once the functionality is set up, coding images into html should be straight forward. Here is a forum thread describing node.js setup and some alternatives. There is an implementation of node.js for iPad OS.

Dear Community

I am preparing a project, where I want to capture the Data of a Kinect.

I am working on windows, Izzy version 3(latest).

Kinect and tracking works fine, but I want to record the tracking data and play them back later.

The openNI-tracker allows to record *.oni files onto disk, but i am struggeling opening the recorded file afterwards- in the sense that tha openNI-tracker opens the file and is playing it.

What am I missing?

I did not find an example on this specific topic.

@mark_m you have some obasbot UVC PTZ cams, I reckon. Can you control them via osc AND via the new Video in PTZ image Control Actor ?
