This is an interesting Idea, and something we will discuss. (being added to our FR database :)

As a note, what I do is save my files with Version numbers file_v#.mov for example, in my media folder, the file named file.mov is replaced by a copy of any new media I make. This allows me to update my file without relinking each file manually, while maintaining an archive of versions. Down-side of this approach is I need to have 2 copies of the latest version at any time. I do find renaming a copy much faster than using the relink UI interface though.

      Welcome to the community!

The example file we have for OpenNI is an excellent place to start: https://troikatronix.com/add-ons/tutorial-openni-tracker/

These are basically what you need to make it easier to figure out how to trigger movement left and right:

      https://troikatronix.com/add-ons/visualization-blob-target/https://troikatronix.com/add-ons/visualization-tracking-zone/

This will also be helpful for learning about tracking: https://troikatronix.com/add-ons/tutorial-basic-motion-tracking/

Taking some elements from these other files by TroikaTronix, myself, @DusX, @bonemap, and other members of the community may also be interesting:

      Download materials for this session.

      Watch the session. (9:20)

In this session, targeted at intermediate to advanced users, we'll dig deep into the 3D capabilities of Isadora. From the 3D Projector actor to using the 3D Player and 3D models to build up complex scenes where individual objects respond to sensory input, you'll see new opportunities for creating imagery that lives and breathes along with performers or the public.

There are two 360° video clips that you'll also need to download:

      Download materials for this session

      Watch the session (8:29)

In this session, we dig deep into, body and skeleton tracking using Isadora's OpenNI Tracker actor. You'll learn how to connect your Kinect v1, Orbbec Astra, Intel Realsense depth cameras so that you can sense the movements of one or more performers. You'll learn how to use the Skeleton Decoder actor to read the individual points of the performer's skeleton, and how to use that data to interactively control video and sound. As usual, I will take your questions live and do my best to answer them.

If you want interactive tracking of the human body to be part of your artistic toolbox, then this is the session for you.

Yes, the NDI HX camera is great.

Also EpocCam works well. But I prefer the NDIHX.

      Hi all,

Does anyone have tips or sample contracts for situations where you’re re hired by a musician (as is often the case for me, but could be performance group or similar) to perform live visuals during their shows?

It’s mainly to clearly set things and split ahead of time and avoid issues later.

Christie Laser Projector Lamp Hours Not Displaying via Medialon

      Hi everyone,

I recently replaced a Christie lamp projector with a laser projector and kept the same Medialon integration. Previously, I used the TCP command HIS+LMP6 to retrieve and display lamp hours on the user interface. This worked perfectly with the lamp-based unit.

However, with the new laser projector, this command no longer functions and returns an error. I suspect that the laser model uses a different parameter for tracking usage hours, but I haven't found the correct command yet.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before or know the correct TCP command to retrieve laser hours or operating hours from Christie laser projectors?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
