      Hi

Anyone ever figure out how to talk to projectors?
Specifically Panasonics 20k and specifically the shutter. I am connected to the internal web server and use the control panel, but I would very much like to just make a user actor for projector basics.
Page 163 in the manual has lots of funky commands:

      Any clues?
      cheers

        Hi fubbi,

i think the projector has pjlink - if so you can use the software and the pjlink-actor in the thread of the following link to control the shutter and on/off inside izzy

My programmer on a recent show controlled the internal shutters and other settings on Christie 10k and Eiki 5k units using the TCP IP actors in Isadora.

                Hi Fubbi,

Here is a user actor I've done for some Sanyo projectors ( it's PJLink anyway )
One thing you have to take care on Panasonic projectors is that they offer a PIN code lock on the PJLink.
It has to be disabled ( if you manage to deal with the PIN, well done, I never managed ! ).

Thanks Keftaparty, I think I got the lock off but I am still not getting any effect. I can control it over the webserver so I know there is contact. The projector midi remote also does nothing for me.

                  Any leads?
                  thanks

haha! after 1 million attempts, it was so easy. Just remove the web interface password and it works.

                      Thanks,

I never had time to go through this milion of attempts.
Next I know what to do !

I'm curious, I've tried "1 million" times to get my Panasonic PT DX800 projector to work, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the password.  Anyone know where to do this in the menu system?

@CraigAlfredson remove your browser password. it's "panasonic" by default. In the left column of the browser interface there is a big button that says "change password". Just change it to nothing.
