      hello, don't have the time to investigate right now but this version (1.5.3f23) is constantly hanging and not responding, having to force quit... Am I the only one with this problem??

        I have filed a bug report:

        on my machine, it  consistently crashes when I try to start live capture.  I haven't got any further than that.

          Remember this is the Beta pre-release. Read the 'Bug Report' section of the release post:

          I would suggest disconnecting any capture devices and trying again, as a starting point. If we can collect a list of devices causing trouble it is much more likely that a fix can be issued.

                It was hanging immediately after startup, and after a few restarts it seems to have stopped doing that, so I assumed it was me, not Isadora.
