        Trying to upload a jpeg

        works...
        For what I've tried:
        .izz works
        .zip is refused
        .iua is refused
        Michel, I guess you added permission for .izz o work, is it possible to make one for .iua ( and maybe .zip is practicle too )

          Well zip was always working and the forum is not updated since quite a while. I'm writing on my mobile phone, but as soon as I get to my computer U will try a .zip file. Best Michel

              Dear Michel,

              There is a problem we need to look at though: PNG files do not show a thumbnail... instead there is just a little "broken picture" icon. This was not the case before, but something must have changed at some point.

                Hi,

                I think this comes from a problem from my side.
                I was trying to upload files with the caracter "&" in the file name.
                With simple file names I can upload anything.
                Sorry for this.
                Maybe a warning about supported files and names would be nice when uploading if it's possible.

                    @Mark

                    It could also be that the hoster of the website updated the php version, that could cause the problem. Maybe we should soon update the forum to the newest version.

                      Dear Michel,

                      I am willing to update the forum. Can you test this on the "extra" site? (Maybe you've already done that... I've lost track.)
                      Best Wishes,

                        yep, I have done that, though a few css tweeks where needed. There is a newer version than I have tested but they seem to have changed quite much there. So lets try the one I have already tested and then I will test the newest on the extra site.

                          Dear Michel,

                          OK. Well, you have my permission to proceed. Just make a plan for a day and time that all of us TechStaffer will know. Once the update is complete, we can all give it a run through to make sure nothing bad happened.

                                Hi Michel,

                                I tested again.
                                I can upload quite anything.
                                Just the caracter "&" seems to be problematic.

                                  @Michel

                                  Just an other bug that came back in the forum:
                                  When asking to delete an attached file, the confirmation popup appears over the first post of the discussion.
                                  In internet explorer, the browse is automatically scrolling to it.
                                  In Chrome ( witch is a lot used for pc users ), it's not scrolling, so the forum page looks like freezed untill you have the idea to scroll up. Even that I know it since a long time I still forget it very often, so I'm afraid it's really disapointing for new users.
                                  I have the feeling you allready fixed this ( am I wrong ? ), bug the bug came back.
                                  Thank you
                                  Mehdi

                                    Glad uploading works again. I have the problem with the confirmation popup since the beginning, I never fixed that, but it seems that the browsers handle it different. I will look into that as soon as possible.
