      Dear All,

The pre-release version of 2.0.0b1 does not include the 2.0 features until you purchase the upgrade.
In addition, I do not yet have a demo version of 2.0 that allows to you try the new features. That's coming in a few days.
Users with an existing license can download and use this version, and all the features they currently have (e.g., Core Video upgrade) will be there. But the new stuff won't appear until you purchase the upgrade.
I'm sorry if this transition phase is a little confusing. We wanted to increment the version number to 2.0 because we're letting those who have joined the early adopter program purchase licenses now. We want the copy they have to say 2.0.
I'll have added a note to the pre-releases page about this to clarify make things clearer.
      Best Wishes,
      Mark

@Mark: Question about 2.0 upgrade non-USB licensing: is this going to be the good old 3 licenses per year deal?

                Thanks.

                    @bruper,

Do you by any chance have "v002 Screen Capture" installed? It seems to have a problem with 2.0\. Another user was getting the same crash, uninstalled  "v002 Screen Capture", and then everything was fine.
                    Please check for this.
Otherwise, file a bug report and **compress (please!)** a crash report and send it to us as a bug report.
                    Best Wishes,

                      Dear All,

Just a small update. I was hoping to process the remaining early adopters tonight, but I am stuck at a hotel in Copenhagen with an internet connection that is only barely useable. I will be back home in Berlin tomorrow, and will be processing these orders starting at 10am or so. Those of you who are waiting can expect to see your upgrade notices then.
Also, for those of you who got 2.0.0b1 -- there will be an new build tomorrow fixing some things that the first batch of early adopters found. It will be 2.0.0b2.
                      Thanks for the patience
                      Good Night,
                      Your intrepid leader,

Do we need a 2.0 section in the forum?

http://www.digitalfunfair.co.uk I'm using M1 MBP 14" mostly but sometimes use older Mac & Windows machines.

@mark: YES, IT WORKS, it was in fact "v002 Screen Capture" Thank you very much!! by the way, in the bug report page there is not yet a 2.0 selection possibility, I wanted to do it yesterday but then I choose not to, to avoid confusion

@bruper - yes, I'm looking into why this came up now. There is some sort of conflict with a piece of code called an TaskWrapper, which Isadora wasn't using before but is now.

Will fix the bug report page presently. Thanks for the tip.

In any case, glad it works. ;-)
