I had tried before without success...
so I'm happy to finally be able to connect the dslr to Isadora
this to get the 60D to Isadora:
connect usb camera to the mac, quit eos utility, turn canon2syphon1.1, put QC Syphon Client in sequence, imagetovideo, projector: that's it!!

            Syphon can be downloaded here:

            http://syphon.v002.info/
Look for the _**'Simple Server/Client' **_
This is under the Developer SDK heading.

@Skulpture thanks, I've already downloaded this, moved it to applications, but can't see the Syphon Client actor for some reason. I'm running f06 with video core upgrade.

Ah right, the links above give you an external application. What you want is the quartz syphon? That link is here:

                http://syphon-framework.googlecode.com/files/Syphon%20SDK%20Public%20Beta%202.zip
Do you not see Syphon to Video at all as it's now part of isadora, has been fora while meaning you should not need to instal it separately?

Ok, got that! On the first comment Bruper mentioned "put QC Syphon Client in sequence", so I thought it was another actor than Syphon to Video, which is on my version. Thanks anyway for pointing this out.

No problem. So have you got it sorted now?

That comment is from 2012... Some things changed meantime ;-)
