2.1 3D particle crash

3D particle crashes in 2.1 on windows if I hover the mouse over the trigger input. tested on several machine same result

the issue is also happening with 3D model particle. I'm not sure how it happened as I know I tried the 3D model particle before and I really want to work with it.

I'm developing a few shows that are relying on the particle generator, including new years installation.
I'm also really looking forward to using the 3d model particle for a show that I'm developing for January. Is it possible to get the fix for the this so I can use them?thank you.
