I want to control lighting states through an xbox kinnect. I know that the congo junior desk takes an OSC input and on its online manual even states that it can be connected to third party OSC controls like isadora. However i can't find a way to connect the two. Can anyone help?

        I recommend watching this tutorial:
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlW2H7SVou8

It should give you the basics for using OSC in Isadora.

You will also need to read about how Congo Junior sets addresses for OSC.
Since Isadora will need to know 'where' to send the data.
this one might be helpfull as well: http://dusxproductions.com/blog/dmx-intesity-via-osc/

I should really update that tutorial and make it full HD.
