I am trying to achieve the effect of text being typed, say in the contest of someone composing email or posting a question to an online forum. Anyone have any suggestion on how to achieve a letter at a time arrival of text... maybe even an occasional stop and backspace to change wording as if the typist is self editing as they go. Any help is much appreciated.

Here a quick solution for the typewriting effect. But to get the feeling of misspellings and correcting would be a bit more complex. Maybe with a second Text actor that contains the misspellings and that one triggered at the write time and then the one again with the right spelling. Just an idea.

Mmmh, I could not open it myself anymore, so I had to do it over again. Here is the new version and hope it opens, but you have to have version 2.1.

I extended Michels patch a little with controls and therefore with a couple of little functions like next / previous text buttons or a backspace function. Michels work is always full of little things like the double puls with a random. I would have never thought of this. (Thanx michel)
