      Well, if the heat camera "replaces" the normal camera feed, then it would seem likely that something like EpocCam could send the data. Maybe a question for the ongoing Kinoni thread.

        I don't think that EpocCam will work. The camera only seems to work with their app.

        However. You can use Air Server to catch a screen cast of your iPhone on your laptop. Air Server automatically sends what it catches to syphon - so you can just open up a syphon receiver in Isadora and have access to the video.
        Here is a pic showing in up and running in Isadora.

            I used it with uzzy via air play -> apple tv -> black magic capture. Worked great but the fkir us a bit of hocus pocus.

              Have spent more time with my Flir.  Would not call it hocuspocus - but it is important to recognize that it is really only a monochrome sensor - that is, any color reproduction it shows is simply a color pallet mapped to brighter or darker pixels. However, it certainly is a working heat sensor. The resolution is something like 80x60 and you will need to ensure you have a cooling solution for you phone so it doesn't over heat if you are planning on having it on for long periods of time. It is also worth noting that the device will automatically change its exposure settings, so you will have to be able to deal with values fluctuating between its different settings unless you can keep condidtions locked down so that it doesn't auto change.  That said - Yes - I do think you can use this as a motion tracking sensor.

                Thanks for the info about the flir one camera. Overheating is a bit of a worry as is the low resolution. I have been using a flir sr camera with Isadora since 2009 for tracking. The camera is very robust - it is in a security camera housing and that accommodates scaffold clamps or bar hooks. it is very quick to set-up and because it sees the thermal spectrum (far infrared) it does not need infrared lighting and is not affected by event or stage lighting. Another consideration has been heat residues, heated up surfaces that make hot spots from the body heat of performers doing floor work. The sensor is a bolometer sensitive to radiant energy so it will not capture an image through glass, however it will see through material with no thermal mass - such as some thin plastic sheeting - so there is some potential for trickery.

                    The flir sr uses a passive cooling system so it is all built in. For the military grade camera used for Baylaucq film I understand they used liquid nitrogen to cool the sensor, pouring it into the top of the camera a couple of times a day. The camera used for their film is a special piece of kit and achieved incredible detail and clarity. I am not sure what to use to cool a mobile phone?

                      The version I am using is the iOS based version. I set up a small fan next to my phone to keep it cool and that has worked in my testing. Though I have not tried using it for more than an hour or so.

                      (It isn't the camera getting hot, it is the phone it self getting hot and going into a protect mode that I had to deal with.)

                        Also, at least with my iOS version - It is also worth noting that there is no way of keeping the phone battery charged while the Flir is plugged in . . . so I'm guessing the hour that I was playing is about as long as I could expect it to work regardless.
