i´m missing 2 things in the control section. to be able to change the background color of the edit text box and a little indicator (like a small led) for momentary buttons to show the on/off status.

Any News about these features in the final 2.5 release ? i want to create a new player and want it to look good also from the design side ! and a white text box does not support an overall design! and the led indicator would still be quite handy for touring projects passed onto beginner izzy users

The text box will not be changed for the 2.5 release. As for the momentary buttons.. is it that you just need it to be small?

@DusX no i would need led like indicators and the option to change the background colour according to my design skills. but i believe there will be a release which covers this one day. i really like isadora and promote it a lot but i truly think one should not forget about the control features. there is a lot to develop there i

I use controls a lot! So I totally agree.I imagine we will focus on a Quicktime free version release before the controls get much love though. -

in my opinion if Isadora want to be better about controls simply "copy" touscOSC should be enough. I don't now if is so difficult to code it. In fact if i need a visual control for Isadora ( but this doesn't happen usually ) i use touchOsc instead build in controls.

Actually, similarly to gapworks what I'm after isn't controls, but rather indicators. I do use OSC to send something similar to my iPhone, but usually it would be nicer to just have the information in the 'Controls' pane.

Maybe a useful tip...
For 'indicators'... particularly for building/debugging I often use 'Speak Text'.
Audio cues letting me know whats happening while I watch the output ect, is very helpful.
