Windows 10, msvcp100.dll, msvcr100.dll missing
-
Hi there
I cannot make Isadora run on a brand new i7 with Windows 10 Pro due a missing msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll libs.
I've already followed the few advices (such as Installed Visual C++) related to some similar issues from this forum without any luck.
Any help would be extremely precious.
Best
Fabio

You may need to manually search your computer for the dll files and placed them inside the Isadora folder.

Well, it's better to use the actual Microsoft installers for these.
@abusedmedia – you should get the redistributable files here:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package
and to save you some time, if you also get an error about msvcp120.dll then go here
Update for Visual C++ 2013 and Visual C++ Redistributable Package
You want the x86 package.

After following this post:
http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/MSVCP100-dll-missing-in-windows-10/td-p/4702068
and hammering a bit, I fixed my setup installing this version of the 2013 version of Visual C++:

the same mentioned by Mark btw...
thanks!

Dear @abusedmedia
Well, you shouldn't have had to install 2013... just the DLLs. But whatever does the job.
We're apparently not the only software that has faced this issue. You can see that Native Instruments faced the same issue. Still, I want to get this fixed so the users don't need to do anything like this to just open Isadora!
Best Wishes,
Mark
