Major Security Flaw in High Sierra
-
Dear Community,
This is just an FYI for those of you who haven't heard about this, but wow... this is pretty unbelievable.
For any computer running macOS High Sierra, just type "root", no password, and boom! You're logged in to someone's computer! :-(Apparently, you can set a root password to prevent people from jumping on without your permission.

Well, as a moderately sized developer, the fact that behemoth Apple could make such a glaring mistake offers some perspective. Glad they fixed it quick.

Good thing I only ever update my Macs to the second-most recent OS available. ;)
