      I recently downloaded and installed Isadora on my MacBook Pro late 2015 running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

      My exact computer specifics are:


      Right from boot up, the program says:


      upon trying to use the application anyway. I cannot click on anything. No video sources or actors or anything is even clickable. I cannot drag anything. In the live video input settings, it won't register the built in web cam (which works with other apps). The light on the web cam comes on as if its being used, but it doesn't show up or register in the dialog box. No live feed of course either. Then the program usually quits.

        First thing to try is to delete your preference file (this will cause a new default Preference file to be created)

           Isadora 2.6.1 has been thoroughly tested on High Sierra and it should work fine.

          Did you try @DusX's advice? Did you get it working? If DusX's advice, you should try deleting all Isadora preferences files at ~/Library/Preference

          Also, where is the program installed? In the normal Applications folder? Or somewhere else?

          Please let us know. We want to see you up and running.

            This issue was solved by doing a full delete + restore and reinstall of the operating system and after that the newly installed Isadora functioned just fine.
