Isadora get's stuck with only movie players
-
Hello friends!
I'm performing an instalation with four videos, each one with its on sound. All videos are just played forward in loop. Still, some times Isadora get's stuck for a few seconds long. I wonder if anyone could help me figure out what is wrong.
- All four videos are not HD. Two of them are 800x450, the other two are 1024x576. Each of them has its own movie player + projector, with no mix.
- Videos are rendered as Quicktime ".mov" with no compression.
- Computer is brand new Windows desktop with Intel i7 (8th generation), 16gb ram, Nvidea Geforce GTX 1060 3Gb plus a SSD HD.
Thanks in advanced!

@danielcorbani
Please try compressing the video to HAPQ (Q for high quality) and try again. Uncompressed video is very large, and you could be running into hardware issues.ps: you will need to install HAP if you haven't yet. https://github.com/Vidvox/hap-... -
Thank you!
I do have Hap intalled, but I though it would only be recommended for large files (are my files considered large?)
I will try it right now.

Hi, @DusX
It got better, but still not 100%. Isadora gets stuck once in a while. I'll try to reduce a little bit the resolution.
Best regards

SSD HD
What SSD? If the transfer rate is slow, you could be running into a bottleneck there during Scene transitions. If each Scene is playing 4 movies, then during the transition your computer has to play 8 movies at once because both Scenes are active.
Also when is Isadora getting hung up? The same Scene every time, or is it different? If you create a support ticket with the link in my signature and send us your Isadora Patch I can take a look at it and see if it hangs up while running on one of our test machines.
