      @alex2p

      I used this https://de.newtek.com/software... NewTek NDI app with https://docs.vidvox.net/freebi... NDISyphon on the Isadora Mac (corresponding windows would be Spout to NDI https://docs.vidvox.net/freebi...) . I did go with an android, but this should be fine with the iphone app as well.

      You should use a very good router with 5Ghz Wifi n.

      best

          @alex2p I would take the NDI route over the methods in the Isadora tutorial. For more robust solutions I have also used a dedicated Apple TV per device and then capture the signal from the HDMI output of the apple TV.

            hello.

            we work for many shows with one to ten iphones via ndi camara app.

            works very great. all phones on the same apple account, so you only have to buy the app once.

            in izzy 2.6 the old ndi to spout plugs working with some restrictions for us. so the main issue is that the sender index is not saved at leaving a scene. so after recall the scene with the receiver, you have to retype the senderindex.

            greetings. rh.

              Hey,

              iPhone on NDI is definitely the way to go these days. Here is an example from a couple years ago of a brief iPhone dance of ours:

                With every setup take in account it is over wireless, so take GOOD care of your wireless setup. Put the router/antenna on stage and go from there wired into Isadora.The right placement on stage is crucial. Remember that the fastest speed is NOT the most reliable one, so super triple MIMO streams and more fancy stuff relies on more bandwidth/channels, that is not always available in a theatre. A full blown IP stream is only around 2-4 Mb, so you don't need 1300 Mb, what you need is a steady connection from and to the wireless device.

                Make yourself comfortable with wireless and how to set up a router. Forget set-and-forget , lot's of times you need to tweak when you go to another venue. And during setup your connections are way different then in show, when a few hundred phones trying to search a wifi spot, or still acting like a personal hotspot.
