[LOGGED] Save view state
-
When using controls and saving a file in actor control split view it would be great that the view is saved when the file is re-opened.
-
I had the very same thought this morning. I'm using a patch with a Monitor window in the control panel as a preview, but still need access to the patch. when opening the file, it defaults to full control panel, rather than the split view.

I'm totally with you on this one, I work in actor control split view all the time. Mark's explained to me previously that the current behavior is the intended behavior because if you're doing a quick edit on a completed patch with a control panel, you don't want it to open in a split at the top of the next show and freak out your operator. I do not, however, think that the current behavior takes into account that many people use the actor control split throughout much of the tech and building process and want the split to stay put.

I made this as a feature request about 18 months ago

We log feature requests in a different location and then resolve the ticket. This is standard practice for us, it doesn't mean your feature request is dead. Also please understand that just because a feature is requested and logged does not mean that we will be able to find the time to implement it within a given timeframe. Isadora is constantly in development and we're always doing our best to make sure it is as good as it can be but there's not always time to implement everything we and our users want to be included in the program.

I have the same suggestion. It would be good to just mark it to open in split view or control view.

Watching Guru Session #4 reminded me of this Feature Request, which although you agreed to implement this, has not yet been implemented.
So I am just bumping this up!
Thanks a lot
